The formation received at Captivenia is based on the teachings of the Catholic Church. Our program is designed to foster knowledge and love for Christ, instilling virtues and motivation to positively change the world around them! At camp, this is achieved by: daily Mass, adoration, the Rosary, talks, and one-on-one spiritual mentoring.
We want all girls to be confident in who God has made them to be! We offer a range of skills that they will enjoy, such as: creativity in leather-work, encouraging and being encouraged through sports and team building activities, archery, horse-back riding, adventure and wilderness survival.
For those who become Bellesera, they have a beautiful chance to grow in leadership and living with a sense of mission! They come to know the joy in helping the younger ones know Jesus personally!
This leadership is fostered through Bellesera training which includes: talks, reflections, being led in prayer, and the example of the young women on team. When the young Maidens come, the Bellesera lead them with sincerity and a sense of responsibility for the younger ones in their care.
How do we love what we do not know? This is why our priests and consecrated at camp are so vital to Captivenia! They are the ones who ensure a strong formation in the Catholic faith, tying the storyline and all the different experiences in light of our faith!
