Integral Formation

The integral Christian is well formed in the four main areas of Christian living – spiritual life, human development, knowledge of the faith, and apostolic activity. It’s all about Christ. It’s all about becoming more and more like him. It’s about being his disciple, in order to spread his Kingdom in the world.

Spiritual

The formation received at Captivenia is based on the teachings of the Catholic Church.  At Captivenia, Daily Mass, Adoration, Rosary, Talks, and Spiritual Mentorship are offered. Our program is designed to foster knowledge and love for Christ, instilling virtues and motivation to positively change the world!

Apostolic

For those who become Bellesera, there is a beautiful opportunity to grow in leadership and to experience living with a sense of mission! They may grow in appreciation of the joy that comes from helping the younger Maidens know Jesus personally!

Leadership is particularly fostered with the Bellesera. Training includes:  being led in talks, reflections and prayer, and being exposed to the young women on team.   When the young Maidens come, the Bellesera are equipped to lead them with sincerity, and to maintain a mature sense of responsibility for the ones in their care.

Human

We want all girls to be confident in who God has made them to be! We will help them develop a wide range of skills through a variety of activities, including: archery, crafting, adventure and wilderness survival. They will also benefit from being encouraged, and encouraging others, through sports and team building activities.

Intellectual

How do we love what we do not know? To ensure a solid faith formation, it is vital to have our Priests and Consecrated at camp. We are grateful for how they interpret daily experiences and the theatrical storyline in the light of our Catholic faith!
