2022 Fundraising Challenge

Ladies of the Realm!!

We are super excited to launch our third annual Fundraising Event!! This year’s target is to raise $20,000 for the upcoming summer program (July 2022).

We invite anyone interested to partner with us in raising funds to ensure this year’s program is impactful for all who journey to Captivenia. We acknowledge your generosity in helping us to meet this fundraising goal, which allows us to keep Captivenia registration fees as conservative as possible for everyone! Thank you!!

So what’s a ‘Fundraising Challenge?’

Each year Captivenia hosts an Annual Fundraising Event inviting women of all ages to support this beautiful apostolate designed especially for feminine hearts. To participate, simply create your personal fundraising page and share with your family, friends, colleagues, Encounter Teams, and community. 

There are countless  ways you can raise funds to help towards the current year goals. One idea that has had good success is the: ‘Slow Bottle Drive Fundraiser.’ This is a simple fundraising initiative where you invite family and friends to save bottles and donate collected refunds through your personal fundraising page (hosted through our Canada Helps Donation Partner). All who donate online via your personal fundraising page will receive a tax-receipt for his or her donation(s).  But you aren’t limited to a ‘Slow Bottle Drive,’ so choose something close to your heart and promote away!

Prizes to Top Fundraisers

Each participant who creates a Fundraising Page will receive a prize simply for joining the Fundraising Event. Additional prizes will be awarded at following tiers: $250, $500, $750, $1000, $1500. (NB No cash exchange for prizes.)  The personal fundraising page you create will track the total funds you raise.  Each participant will be provided a link to a Personal  Tracking Sheet. Track the number of shares to your circle of influence to earn additional ‘points.’

*OPTIONAL FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE REWARD: Individuals will be given a link to their personal Google sheet to track their weekly progress. Simply enter your daily totals for different fundraising tasks (ie: # of emails sent, # of phone calls made, etc.) and any donations secured. The fundraisers with the top 2 amounts of fundraising tasks completed will win a prize.
